Zoran Suvajac - Zograf

Zoran Suvajac - Zograf was born in 1963 in Banja Luka. He grew up in Shnjegotina, little village just alongside the Banja Luka - Doboj railway. In the nineties he began his studies at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology of the University of Belgrade, where he is introduced to icon-scripting and fresco-scripting.

Zograf finds his inspiration in Serbian Medieval art, which gives him energy for continuous creative expression. He has held 20 solo exhibitions and participated in over 70 group exhibitions throughout the Balkans. Apart from paintings and watercolors, he is creating prints, illustrations and calligraphy pieces. He lives and works in Banja Luka.
